Happy Mother's Day

I stumbled across an interesting event on Facebook last night. Someone was asking that everyone plant a tree today for Mother's Day in honor of Mother Earth! I think that is a fantastic idea, so I plan on doing just that this evening. Yesterday was mine and the hubby's 9 year anniversary and he brought me home a plum tree. He said it was a pear tree at first but upon closer inspection we discovered that it was a Golden Yellow plum tree which is great because I really enjoy those plums! I thought it was so sweet and the thought of the family eating fruit off a tree that was inspired by love was absolutely touching and beautiful. It made me teary eyed! So I plan on planting that tree this evening and the 3 little seedlings that I have.

 

He dropped it off on the back steps and told me I could plant it where ever I decide. I think I'm going to plant it near the crab apple trees so I can see it from my bedroom window. I love to watch the property and the seasons change out of that window and eventually I would like to make an orchard of sorts around that side of the property!

Isn't it pretty! Plums of love will bloom on this lovely tree! 

I had the kids draw some pictures for my Mom for Mother's day. I wanted them to use their imagination to create pictures of their grandmother raising their mother as a little girl. Blog Updates!

I'm going to start reviewing products and doing giveaways again and Music and Mommies will be the blog that I use for that purpose. Primarily because I have been using it for that thus far and it already has a PR ranking which was a trying process and a great learning experience for me. Secondly, many of you have followed this blog specifically for that purpose so it makes more sense for me to do so.

All of my "The Love Movement" posts and "Alternative Healing" posts are being transferred to my new blog The Wave of Love. Which is currently a work in progress, it should look drastically different over the next couple days as I will be designing and moving all of the posts over there in between my gardening. I encourage you to join the wave of love. There are many players and many observers in this movement... which are you?

I will still let everyone know when there is a new post but this way those of you that just aren't interested in that stuff don't have to be bombarded by it. I thought it would be much more respectful that way, thank you all for being wonderful! Not to mention understanding of the many changes that this blog has experienced over the last year. I think my head is finally on straight. Product reviews and Giveaways here.... my journey there.
